Making memories day by day…

The day started out with my friend and I heading over to Golden Gate Park. That failed because we didn’t know where to go once we realized how amazingly huge the park was. Once our model, Sonia, arrived, we searched around for a bit but didn’t know what would look well with her outfit.
Not feeling inspired, I suggested we go to a structure I saw as we drove by. It so happened to be on the campus grounds of the University of San Francisco (USF).
This worked out well for all of us! Simple and clean, just the way I like it.
Overall, Sonia was a great model to work with. I had a lot of fun trying to figure out where to shoot. I also remembered some spots at Golden Gate Park for future shoots. I’m definitely looking forward to it.
As our shoot came to an end, it began to get really chilly. We stopped around 6p.m. and made our way back home. I really have to hand it to my friend for driving! She was great and very patient considering it was probably her first time driving in the city. 🙂

My friend, Kayleen, and I are working together to build our portfolio and to work our way up to do some paid shoots. Meet Chase– Chase is our first selected model for this journey.
We took a stroll through the simple street of Piedmont Ave in Oakland looking for textures and good light to shoot in.
To be honest, I’m glad he was because he was a fun lax guy and very easy to work with.
